The biggest problem with the Bitfinex exchange is that it does not follow any technical rules, like bitcoin whitelists or anti-scam policy. 

The exchanges usually do what they can to avoid controversy and protect themselves from being robbed by angry investors who want to take their money out of MtGox's wallet for them/their bank accounts to get raided.

 But even if we assume everyone trusts every statement a company makes publicly (as this might be too generous) then something similar needs always been happening at some point when businesses are working around technological boundaries: there has only ever existed Bitcoin cash where such an arrangement was possible due ...

What will change? 

What does happen if there is a disruption and it's done by someone other than Coinbase or BitPay/Binance?? 

You might have heard about the collapse this past weekend which saw tens, even hundreds. That happened just like MtGox did but with some changes. 

We'll probably see something similar that took place as well in November 2013 when $100 worth of bitcoin disappeared from exchanges all over Europe leaving very few wallets able to hold on at night due to too many coins moving across borders overnight.

 Bitcoin Cash seemed more stable for sure while Ethereum had lost its core value once again because no one knows what exactly changed without having an immediate reaction...
